A Life Changing 87lbs!

“Keto saved my life!”

Say hi to Ashley! She’s 32, has 3 wonderful children, and is incredibly inspiring.

She had always struggled with her weight. From high school and beyond she would lose some and then gain it back.

“I got pregnant with my first daughter and packed on some more pounds! By that time I was at least 80lbs heavier than I was in high school. I’d try and hop on and off WW after having her in hopes to lose some weight. 3 years after I had her I was finally able to drop 30lbs, it was HARD, I felt deprived. I was pushing myself to workout and eat tiny meals 5-6x a day.”

Then she got pregnant with her second child, which became the beginning of her toughest struggles yet.

“It was a rough pregnancy and delivery for that matter. After I had her I ended up gaining more weight. I tipped the scales at just under 250lbs. I wasn’t happy, I felt awful all the time. I was told at 22yrs old I had pre-diabetes and a fatty liver. And things were only getting worse! I’d try and do WW off and on and nothing seemed to work. I tried other restrictive diets, pills and programs. NOTHING! So I pretty much gave up, I felt completely hopeless. I hated going anywhere, I hated seeing people. I became agoraphobic and never wanted to leave the house. Not even to go grocery shopping.”

“Then one Monday morning as I was waking up, in horrible pain all over, I hobbled over to the bathroom and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Who was that??? I was 27yrs old but I looked OLD and morbidly obese.”

It was time for a drastic change. Ashley made the internal commitment to learn about a low carb diet and go all in.

“I started the VERY next day. 04/01/2014 a TUESDAY! I slowly started learning throughout my journey about keto and ketosis. And how I had been lied to my whole life about proper nutrition. It was a sense of betrayal to be honest. The weight was melting off. I felt great! I lost 60lbs in the first year.”

At this point she got pregnant again, but this time it was a breeze compared to her previous pregnancies.

“I’m now down 87lbs. I was able to get rid of my pre-diabetes and fatty liver, along with a whole host of other issues including IBS & chronic fatigue. All my labs are perfect and I am so grateful for keto. Keto saved my life!”
